Old Testament Bible pages from The Book of Proverbs and Psalms are juxtaposed with scientific text and images from anthropology and sociology college course books, an exploration of belief and science.

Proverbs instructs its readers on how to honor God with wisdom. Wisdom is personified as female and "praised for her role in creation; God created her before all else and gave order to chaos through her. As humans have life and prosperity by conforming to the order of creation, seeking wisdom is the essence and goal of life." Furthermore, it "raises questions about values, moral behavior, the meaning of human life, and right conduct", it's unfortunate that the fear of God is necessary to seek wisdom. Proverbs is the closest interpretation of Greek philosophy.

Psalms

10:1 Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

10:2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken i the devices that they have imagined?

10:9 He lieth i wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

10:10 He croucheth and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

The mountain gorillas are endangered due to hunting and poaching, habitat destruction and constant war and conflict in The Democratic Republic of the Congo. They are also one of our closest genetic relatives, sharing not only 98% of DNA but also some of the most distinctive.
