Pages from The Book of Lamentations is a collection of poems from the Old Testament that express deep sorrow for the deportation of people and mourn the destruction of a great city. The pages are juxtaposed with those from anthropology science texts addressing culture and gender and sex expectations.
The mountain gorillas are endangered due to hunting and poaching, habitat destruction and constant war and conflict in The Democratic Republic of the Congo. They are also one of our closest genetic relatives, sharing not only 98% of DNA but also some of the most distinctive.
